Operator Onboarding
To become a trusted operator within MultichainZ, you first need to be recognized as a node operator under MultichainZ's protocol. Below is a detailed guide on how to integrate into MultichainZ's trusted operator network.
Ethereum Onboarding Process for Trusted Operator
MultichainZ periodically opens onboarding rounds as necessary to maintain an optimal balance between decentralization, node operator profitability, and the overall security of MultichainZ’s liquid staking solutions.
Presently, the operator set on Ethereum for MultichainZ is permissioned, which means operators are carefully selected by the DAO to manage validators. This is due to the stringent resilience and security demands associated with handling large-scale validators.
From this point, ETH deposited by users for staking through MultichainZ will be allocated to validators managed by these trusted node operators.
To enter the trusted operator set, node operators should reach out to the MultichainZ team directly.
Node operators are required to complete a KYC process or make a forum post to the MultichainZ team to initiate their inclusion in the trusted operator set.
Following the approval and addition of their controller-address, Node Operators will gain access to all MultichainZ contracts designated for node operators.
Inclusion in the trusted list is subject to a DAO vote.
Once the vote is successfully passed, the node operator is officially recognized as trusted, completing their onboarding process.
